Yes, what should I say. I was very touched and grateful when I received this award.

On the day this photo was taken I was on a photo tour.

I made myself comfortable on a pile of logs at the edge of a forest.

Camera at the ready, I was hoping for some good photos of native raptors.

Yes and suddenly in the silence I heard a strange rustling. I looked around, nervous, but there was nothing.

Through the viewfinder of my camera I watched what was happening in the sky again. And yet there was something that wasn't there before.

In the right corner of my eye I saw this little guy looking at me curiously.

I suddenly felt warm. The situation was completely surreal.

I quietly started speaking to him in a calm tone. Hey little one, stay until I take a nice picture of you.

Slowly, in slow motion, I turned to face him, camera ready.

He was still there and I got my photo.

And my photographer's heart was racing and jumping for joy.

Yeahhh, I got it, that one picture that we all want. A photo that you don't get every day. It was just magical!!!
